OUR Story
In 2010, Chef Josh Katt became a personal chef in Chicago for a client recovering from cancer, where he first learned that food can do much more than satisfy – it has the power to heal, comfort, and transform.
KITCHFIX WAS QUICKLY BORN FROM THE IDEA THAT ALL PEOPLE BENEFIT FROM A HOLISTIC MINDSET ABOUT OUR FOOD.
This experience also created a foundation for seeking to understand our clients deeply so that we can excel in how we serve them. It taught us to think about all of the aspects from what goes into your body to how we can care for you.
In 2012, we began delivery of delicious, mindfully-prepared meals throughout the Chicagoland area. As our mission caught on, prominent organizations and winning sports teams were eager to apply our mindset and reputation of hospitality to up their food service game. Today, we focus solely on fueling top teams and organizations with the best food and hospitality. It is our continued mission to provide high-quality and transformative food service to all our clients seeking to better their bodies and minds through trusted, proven, delicious food.
OUR Commitments
Our promise stems from an old saying at KitchFix coined by a few baseball players we served. After a long and tiring road trip they returned to their home clubhouse where we had a delicious meal ready for them, to which they replied,
“WOW, THIS FOOD IS THE ‘BEST IN THE BIGS!”
That day we wrote “Best in the Bigs” on our kitchen wall, to remind ourselves of who we were and what we were committed to. In 2023, we reimagined that saying and made it Our Promise:
BEST FOOD, BEST SERVICE, BEST HOSPITALITY.
While it’s a bold statement, it is a reminder of our desire to keep pushing towards delivering our best in each area, day in
and day out. We share this with our clients because we hold ourselves accountable for delivering that to all of you. Why? Because it’s our passion.
