It is with mixed emotions that I announce the closure of KitchFix Meal Delivery in Chicagoland, effective with our last deliveries on March 11th, 2024. Over the past 12 years, we’ve endeavored to innovate and deliver the best healthy, fully-prepared meals each week. Your support has been instrumental in our journey, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
In the interest of transparency, it’s important to share that our Meal Delivery service, despite our best efforts, hasn’t sustained itself at the level needed for continuation. As this part of our business concludes, other areas within KitchFix are thriving and increasingly demand our focus.
We understand that this news may be disappointing, especially for those of you who have integrated our meals into your busy lives. Please know that your patronage and trust in our service have been invaluable.
However, this is not the end for KitchFix. We’re excited to concentrate fully on our Contract Dining, Catering, and Hospitality services, which over the last 8 years have become our passion and an increasingly bigger part of our business.
What’s Next for KitchFix:
- Final Meal Delivery Date: Our last meal delivery will be on March 11th, 2024
- Contract Dining, Catering + Hospitality Services: We’re directing our full attention to what is now called KitchFix Performance Food Service and Corporate Catering, where we’ve served nearly 2 million meals to professional sports teams and corporate clients
- Employee Transition: We’re committed to supporting our team during this transition, with many continuing in catering roles. For those we can’t retain, we’re providing severance packages and job transition assistance
