Since Chef Josh started cooking for recovering cancer patients in 2009, our approach to our menus and ingredients has always been to start with whole and natural raw ingredients from high quality sources.
Our ingredients focus isn’t just local and organic, it’s about finding the right ingredients that work in our model – which sometimes isn’t always local, or organic (but most of the time it is!). You may see us use the one-liner “organic and local when possible” but it’s much more complex than that, and take it from us – we handle all of that thinking and strategizing so you don’t have to.
Our menu at Kitchfix is based around the anti-inflammatory diet, a diet that reduces inflammation in your cells by avoiding ingredients that irritate them. While our approach isn’t perfect, we believe that it’s an approach that makes eating healthy very enjoyable for you, because after eliminating those ingredients, we put our chef coats on and whip up the best darn menus using only the healthiest ingredients (in our opinion). We love the creative challenge of making “healthy food taste good” and we think you will too.
